Z4A Office of Architecture and Design, Houston TX

Collaborator in Practice:

-Working on several projects including but not limited to: the advanced design of a family

house, a series of competitions, and an installation. The work consists in technical documentation,

renderings, 3D modeling, 3D printing and physical models.

University of Houston, Houston TX

Research and Design Assistant:

-Selected to form part of the design team to develop the construction of a temporary

50-foot-tall architectural installation

-Performed computational aerodynamic simulations to optimize design

-Produced a series of drawings that were exhibited and auctioned at a Gala that raised over

$400,000

Research Assistant for an Architecture Publication:

-Conducted research for several book chapters

-Produced hundreds of maps, architectural drawings, and illustrations

-Preliminary findings and drawings were presented at the ETSAM in Madrid

Resiliency Researcher for a Mixed-Use Project:

-Worked with at team to develop alternatives for a district-scale net-zero master plan andregional flood mitigation

-Attended community meetings to revise alternatives

-Performed energy models, thermal comfort models, and urban heat island models

-Thorough urban, cultural, regional, historic, and geologic analysis to investigate the potential of the land-fill project

-Prepared final planning documents delivered to the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone board
