The year is 2052. Houston has grown in density dra- matically. In response to the increases in population, public transit and low-carbon vehicles dominate the poly-centric city. A transit-oriented, walkable district has been developed where, thirty years ago, there used to be hundreds and hundreds of under-utilized parking spaces surrounding the AstroDome. High-rise living is in high demand as people concentrate in key locations. Crowning the Astro-Bayou Development are two residential towers that exemplify contempo- rary sustainable living.
