TWOTOWERS
Belonging to a Mixed-Use, Mixed-income MasterPlan, the Project sought to incorporate efficiency, flexibility, and luxury within its design. The result maximized views, applied a tensile and modular structural logic that allowed for a spatial composition that can evolve over time. Although, internally, the towers are twins, externally, their distinct appearance adds fresh variety to Houston's skyline
LEVI + CATHARINE COFFIN INTERPERTIVE CENTER
This projects dealt with rigid spatial, historical, cultural, climatic, and programmatic limits and challenges. The design celebrates multiplicitous perspectives and invites visitors to learn about the lives of the Coffins as well as the thousands of slaves that received aid and shelter on this site.
INFRANATURE
At the core of this essay is an exploration of the concept of a hybrid. Nature is understood through mythology and story-telling. A case-study looks into a unique suburban stormwater drainage design that fuses community and infrastructural planning with pre-existing natural drainage systems.
AIRSCAPES
This project explores the concept of a meta-stable pneumatic and kinetic structure. The dynamics of the cloth and the turbulent flows are set in relation and opposition to its context
